I told her to pack light.
But if you’ve ever met a Midwest girl headed to the beach, you already know how that's gonna go.
Five outfit changes. Two hats. A curling iron (because apparently, humidity needs a fight). And a duffel full of shoes—for “options.”
And honestly? I love her for it.
Because while it might be damn near impossible to get her out of O-H-I-O, we’re finally about to live the album we’ve been writing: Long Weekend – You Me & Siesta Key.
This Friday, it starts.
We’re kicking off the summer with “You Me & Siesta Key,” a country-pop escape anthem made for the ones booking cheap flights, chasing sunsets, and finding love somewhere between the shoreline and the next drink. It's the soundtrack to that early morning flight, the first cold beer at the airport bar, and the promise of three days where nothing else matters.
This is more than music. It’s our tradition.
Every end of school (and a few other long weekends through the year), we head south—Cincinnati to Sarasota.
No work, no worries, just waves and memories.
And now we’re turning those memories into melodies, one track at a time.
“You Me & Siesta Key” is just the beginning.
So pack what you want (or don’t), crank the volume, and let this be the first song on your summer playlist.
Because the Long Weekend starts now.
